大家好，今天我们了解一下体育英语中的射箭。相信大家都看过射箭比赛项目。在2008年的北京奥运会上，我国选手张娟娟在女子射箭个人赛中力克3名韩国名将并从而夺得了这一项目的冠军。

小朱：好想学射箭呀！拉开弓，瞄准目标，然后射出箭，整个过程简直太帅啦！

James：Archery is the practice of using a bow to shoot arrows. It’s also an Olympic sport. Hi Zhu, do you have your bow and arrows ready?

小朱：Yes, I do, James. Here are my bow and arrows. 你看我拿弓箭的样子像不像古代的一位大侠？

James: WOW, you really look like an ancient Chinese Kong-fu master. Are you ready to take aim and shoot? Mr. Kong-fu Master?

小朱：I sure am. 可是那个target目标好像太远了，能不能让我靠近点？

James：The target in Olympic archery is 30 to 90 meters away. You are trying to shoot the arrow as close to the center of the target as possible. You can shoot three arrows.

小朱：也就是说我有三次机会？

James： And you have 40 seconds to shoot each arrow。

小朱：好的，我可以射3次，每次射箭的时间为40秒。Here is my first shot!

That was good!

James: Not really. But it was a good try. Please try again, and maybe this time you can hit the bull’s eye.

小朱：bull’s eye? 哪来的牛？哪来的牛眼睛？

James: No. The bull’s eye is the center of the target，就是“靶心”. Try again.
